The NBA All-Star event was less eventful on the court than off the court. While the WNBA commissioner was worried about a possible strike announcement on the day, a few All-Stars also spoke about messing up the All-Star game. Jaylen Brown proposed adding one-on-one competition to the mix while Aliyah Boston and Candace Parker argue about the entertainment value of the Dunk contests these days.
CP was one of the first college players to dunk in an NCAAW game and has the authority to talk about the subject, while the Fever forward kept herself away but admitted that there is not much left in the dunk contest.

Keshad Johnson won the NBA Dunk contest, which was a low-key affair. The 2026 NBA Slam Dunk Contest continues to face declining interest, with fans and analysts heavily criticizing the event for lacking star power, originality, and overall excitement.
