The ‘Post Move’ podcast made a strong start with Candace Parker and Aliyah Boston hosting the premier episode. The forward pair will dig into the games and share their locker room experiences on the podcast. While there was no guest (not needed even) on the first episode, there were many spicy takes from both players.
As for the veteran forward, the 2025 All-Star game was a hot topic with the plays and players’ protest. But she was not happy with how it all went down the line as she roasted the main event, in which AB was also a part.
Candace Parker Roasts 2025 WNBA All-Star Game
The Indiana Fever hosted the 2025 annual event for the first time, and the side didn’t leave any stone unturned. It perfectly covered all the aspects of the gale event, from the branding, advertising, and arrangements to luring in the fans. IT was a mega success for the league with record viewership.
The former Sparks star was happy with all the management and even compared it to her first All-Star game, saying that the recent event was a massive showing for the league, highlighting its growth. At the same time, she used the ‘growth’ aspect to talk about the players’ demands for a pay raise. She even mentioned that the main event was ‘awful’.
“Y’all can’t come out there with those shirts of ‘Pay Us What You Owe Us…’ and then do that in the All-Star Game. You all had an opportunity,” Parker said in a podcast. (Via YT/@PostMovesShow)
She mentioned that the players could have played better and proved their point to the fans. The WNBA is growing and experiencing attention that even the NBA hadn’t had. She added that wearing t-shirts and playing the game were contrasting, not giving fans what they came in for.

Aliyah Boston Counters Candace Parker’s Claims
The 2016 WNBA Finals MVP’s comments shocked the podcast co-host and participant in the 2025 All-Star Game. She stood by her point and tried to prove the seven-time all-star wrong. AB also wore the ‘Pay Us what You Owe Us’ T-shirts and stood by the WNBPA for their demands.
“We come out every single night and we show why we deserve the money we deserve. An All-Star game—when we have another game in two days—I think that is okay to just go out there and hoop and have some fun because on Tuesday we were back at it and we were playing and were showing once again why we deserve to get paid,” the Fever forward said.

While the three-time champion has shown interest in investing in the WNBA franchise, she was not clearly happy with players’ demands regarding the product they put up in front of the fans. The retired star has already faced backlash for her spicy takes, and these comments could invite a few more hate reactions.
