The WNBA’s influence is not limited to basketball fans or the league alone, as many other ventures, social activities, and avenues are opening up for its athletes. Recently, Sabrina Ionescu joined Bay FC NWSL as an advisor and investor, helping them expand in the league and achieve their business goals. Candace Parker is next in line, but her area of work won’t be limited to one single sport.
According to the report, the three-time WNBA champion will take on a co-chair role on the Pro Athlete Community Board of Advisors. Her actions will provide retired athletes with business and mentorship opportunities.
Candace Parker Joins PAC Board Of Advisors
The impact of the former Los Angeles Sparks star in the WNBA is undeniable, and the accolades she received in 2025 highlight her influence. Former NCAA champion saw her jersey retired by two different franchises, and the WNBA even inducted Parker in the 2026 class of the Hall of Fame for her accomplishments in the league.

With so much reach and success, she now joins the Pro Athlete Community Board of Advisors and will co-chair the position with former NFL standouts Devin and Jason McCourty.
After the confirmation, Parker said, “I’m incredibly excited to be joining PAC’s Board of Advisors. For many professional athletes, retirement marks the start of a brand-new chapter—one that can be full of opportunity, growth, and reinvention. While the transition can be challenging, it’s also an exciting chance to discover new passions and purpose. What PAC is doing is truly transformational for athletes, and I’m proud to be part of a movement that’s redefining what life after sports can look like.”

The 2026 Hall of Fame inductee, Parker, replied, “You wouldn’t want that.” And changed the topic.
