The Unrivaled’s one-on-one tournament is bringing the best out of the WNBA stars, testing their two-way game against top players on the roster. Many offensive and defensive stars failed to overcome such a challenge, as they failed on either end. eventually the finals were between the two top two-way players, one that many anticipated from the start.
Chelsea Gray came back from behind to win her semifinal game and required similar magic to record a win against the Atlanta Dream star.
After the game, she acknowledged the challenge and said, “I think in general in this world of sports, [Allisha Gray] doesn’t get the love and stuff that she deserves. Dynamic player on both ends of the floor, somebody that can put up numbers quickly and in a hurry, and can score in a multitude of ways. So, competing against her, I expected nothing else.”
