The player’s addition is not a surprise with her current scoring form while playing in the Chinese league. Though there is a difference in the WNBA and WCBA, the player will be a ‘great adjustment’ for the Aces.
Chennedy Carter Will Keep Offense Flowing For The Aces
The Aces have one of the top 5 starting lineups in the 2026 WNBA Season. To defend the title, they will need more than five players. Carter provides the Aces with a dynamic scoring presence that significantly bolsters their second unit. With her elite ability to create her own shot and get to the rim, the 27-year-old serves as a vital spark when the starters need rest.

Her primary role involves maintaining the high-tempo offensive pace established by players like Chelsea Gray and Jackie Young. By acting as a primary ball-handler and playmaker off the bench, she ensures that the team’s offensive efficiency does not dip during rotation shifts.
Carter’s agility in transition and her aggressiveness in the paint draw defensive attention, which often creates open looks for the Aces’ perimeter shooters. This depth allows head coach Becky Hammon to manage starter minutes effectively throughout the grueling season.
