Sydney Colson is one of the most active players in the WNBA. Despite her inability for the season, she tries to stay in touch with fans via her live stream. Colson’s live stream of the Commissioner’s Cup title win went viral, with the Fever players’ celebrations led by Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark.
The pair again appeared on the veteran guard’s live stream, which went viral because of one slight hint about CC’s possible return by the 2023 rookie. Stephanie White already has her plans ready for the opening playoff game, and the return of the 2024 rookie will change the whole scenario. Fans reacted to their fun interaction.
Caitlin Clark’s Return To Action
The Indiana Fever will play its first playoff game against the Atlanta Dream at the Gateway Center Arena on Sunday, September 14. Ahead of the game, CC joked about her possible return to action during the playoff run on her Fever teammate Sydney Colson’s IG Livestream.

As the player was about to go to sleep, her teammates asked her to rest. The superstar playmaker jokingly said, “I will. Big game I’ve got coming up on Sunday.”
Colson said “girl” while Aliyah Boston was unhappy with her ‘funny comment’ and said, “That’s not even funny”. The forward missed her back-court partner the most and was upset with the number of injuries. But the former Iowa star continued pulling her leg and said, “Oh shoot! Did they just hear that I’m playing?”

The forward said, “Are you playing? They thought you were playing.” And then laughed it out. Colson found the perfect opportunity to close down the live stream. But in reality, the Indiana Fever shared a post about Damiris Dantas’ absence, adding to the five players out for the season, which clears the picture.
Fans React To Caitlin Clark’s Possible Return
While fans would love to see the superstar guard back on the court, they know her injury status. A few found it funny, while a few were caught off guard. The Fever won two games against the Dream team in the 2025 season, with the 23-year-old guard playing both games. Probably, her return could boost the team’s chances of winning the opening series of the 2025 playoffs. Here is what fans think about CC’s comment,

Though Clark has been out of action since July, she stayed connected with fans and the team. Her sideline interactions and antics went viral. Although she will not be on the court for the Fever team against the Atlanta Dream, she will be seen on the sidelines cheering for her teammates.
