The Seattle Storm had quite a good run last year. However, despite reaching the playoffs, the Storm front office did not seem too excited. Instead, they decided to replace their existing head coach, Noelle Quinn, after the end of the season.
Now, while this surely came as a shocker for the fans, the front office soon ensured that quality recruits were being added to the team. With Sonia Raman named as the Storm’s head coach, Seattle earned NBA-wide praise. However, despite hiring one of the best coaches in the business, the team still needed to rope in some attacking options.
Thankfully for their fans, the Seattle Storm had acquired the Los Angeles Sparks’ lottery pick. And as a result, they will be able to pick third. And in all probability, it would be Azzi Fudd donning the Seattle colors.

Will Azzi Fudd Make A Significant Difference For The Seattle Storm?
The Storm sent Kia Jackson and Rickea Jackson to the Sparks, while owning their 2026 lottery pick. Now, calling third behind the Dallas Wings and the Minnesota Lynx, the Storm’s perfect candidate would be Olivia Miles.
The team would get a traditional point guard to pair up with Dominique Malonga and Skylar Diggins. However, one of the biggest pain points of the team was their three-peat shooting. And this is where the Azzi Fudd factor comes in.

With some incredible three-point shooting abilities, Fudd is currently dominating the NCAA realm for the UConn Huskies. However, despite Fudd solving a lot of problems for the Storm, it is pretty much doubtful whether the likes of Wings and Lynx will let go of someone like Fudd.
Meanwhile, as speculations about Fudd joining the Dallas Wings are gaining traction, Gabby Williams does not want the union to happen.
Gabby Williams Roots For Azzi Fudd Not Joining Paige Bueckers
After the Dallas Wings secured the number 1 pick this year, rumors of Paige Bueckers teaming up with Fudd went wild. After all, the duo did play together for the UConn Huskies and also led them to a national championship in the NCAA.

However, reflecting on the same, Gabby Williams had quite a hilarious wish. Williams stated that she did not want Fudd to play alongside Bueckers. “I am really wondering how this is gonna play this year. I want you to have a good season but not too good,” said Williams.
Thus, with the excitement rising, fans cannot wait to see which team the Huskies star ultimately ends up in.
