The 2025 WNBA Season brought up a few new gems in Women’s basketball, where the rookies set foot in the pro circuit. Some veterans also revived their careers with intense gameplay in the recent season. Indiana Fever players are particularly in demand due to their popularity and extraordinary plays that put them in the limelight.
Brianna Turner, Odyssey Sims, and Sydney Colson made the set to play in the AU pro basketball season. Just after the end of the 2025 season, Turner bagged a new contract with Perth Lynx after a strong postseason with the Indiana Fever, and now the AU contract makes her the busiest star in the offseason.
Indiana Fever Stars To Join AU Pro Basketball
Stephanie White’s team made the headlines with its impressive run in the 2025 season. This impacted their offseason stocks, also making them a ‘must-have’ participant in a number of leagues. Although five stars were out injured for the regular season, they are expected to be fit by the start of year 2026, making them available for the many offseason league schedules.

As per updates, Aari McDonald, Brianna Turner, Bree Hall, and Sydney Colson will be playing in the Athletic United Pro Basketball, which will be entering its fifth year. Nashville will host the league matches starting from February 4.
The 5-on-5 tournament has different rules from the WNBA, allowing players to be more aggressive on offense, which makes it interesting and entertaining. Even though there are no fixed rosters, there are no team standings or team championships, while players accumulate points throughout the season based on their performances. Sims also garnered interest from two WNBA sides for the upcoming season.

Indiana Fever’s Superstar Caitlin Clark To Work On Her Fitness
While most of the Fever players are busy testing their skills in the different leagues and with different teams, superstar Caitlin Clark will be working on her fitness. She is targeting full fitness ahead of the 2026 season and plans to participate in the Team USA event.
“There’s some USA basketball stuff I need to get ready for. And I need to be able to find some runs and ways to play five-on-five, just so I can kind of get that feel back. But more than anything, I think my main focus is really just getting my body healthy,” Clark said in the exit interview.
While the Fever fans are happy with their players staying in touch with the game and also that CC is getting recovery time, it’s still unclear who will represent the Indiana franchise next season, with a number of players entering free agency.
