The 2026 WNBA draft is one of the deepest in recent years. Interestingly, the UCL Bruins are poised to shatter the WNBA draft record, with six projected to be selected in the 2026 class. There is always a new top pick projection every week, as every player is putting in strong performances in the games, making it a difficult choice for the franchises to finalize their draft board. On top of it European stars like Awa Fam and Iyana Martin are adding more choices in the mix.
All eyes will be on the Perfumerias Avenida after she delivered one of the clinical performances in the recent playoff game against Emlak Konut SK, and her selection would eventually change other draft picks in the order.

Iyana Martin Could Be First-Round Pick After Her Heroics Against Emlak
The WNBA draft picks are full of talented young guards with a few extraordinary forwards making their presence felt in the list. After the 2024 season, Lauren Betts was the top pick for most of the period, but later, Awa Fam replaced Betts as the projected top pick, winning a game for her team.
The 19-year-old Avenida guard had a similar impact on her team, helping the side clinch a close 81-78 win against the Emlak Konut SK. The youngest player on the roster played for the third-highest minutes in the playoff game and scored a game-high 17 points for the winning team.

Seattle Storm Will Benefit From Iyana Martin’s Addition
The Dallas Wings have the first overall pick in the upcoming draft and are most likely to select Azzi Fudd as their first pick. The real tussle starts from the second pick, where there are multiple stars available for selection, and the pick will depend on the roster’s need.
As for the second overall pick, the Lynx could go for Olivia Miles, who showed great scoring touch and elite playmaking in the NCAA games. Seattle Storm, who have the third overall pick, are also looking for a guard following Skylar Diggins, Erica Wheeler, and Brittany Sykes entering the free agency.
As for Martín, she proved herself at every level at a young age, competing in the top Spanish league, EuroLeague, and EuroCup ever since. She was the EuroLeague Young Player of the Year winner and also the MVP at the 2023 U19 World Cup. Moreover, combining her with another top European talent, Dominique Malonga, would be an intriguing prospect.
