Jason Whitlock is a hardcore Caitlin Clark fan, and his podcast views have always supported CC’s actions. He criticized HC Stephanie White in the early days of the 2025 season when the side was on a losing streak. Whitlock slammed the Indiana Fever for not supporting Clark’s superstardom.
Now, in his latest video, the analyst fires shots at CC’s teammates, Sydney Colson and Aliyah Boston, who were answering a question on a podcast.
Jason Whitlock Questions Caitlin Clark Snub
On the ‘Post Moves Podcast, AB received a question from fans to have an All-Star game between straight players against gay players. So, Sydney Colson, a guest on the show, first questioned whether to choose from gay players who opened up about their sexuality, which brought up huge laughter.

And Candace Parker pointed out that most of the players in the league are gay, and they might need to find the straight players to form a team. The trio came up with many names, including Napheesa Collier, Aliyah Boston, A’ja Wilson, and Sabrina Ionescu, but instead of finding the fifth player, AB tried to take them to the next question.
Jason Whitelock said, “I’m being dead serious here. That seemed to be a clear trolling potential outing of Caitlin Clark. Caitlin Clark is a prominent name in the WNBA. They don’t have a podcast without Caitlin Clark. Aliyah Boston and Sydney Colson just played with Caitlin Clark and experienced the Caitlin Clark effect. And so when they start talking about straight players and they never mention Caitlin Clark and they mention Sabrina Ionescu, they mention A’ja Wilson, they mention Napheesa Collier, they mention uh Aliyah Boston, but no Caitlin Clark.”

Whitlock added that the former South Carolina star and CC share a close bond, which makes it even interesting that she missed out on Clark’s name. Fever HC also spoke about their on-court chemistry as White named Boston among the most impacted amid Clark’s absence.
It is worth noting that the podcast participants chose veteran stars over rookie stars, which gives them a slight advantage. Additionally, they didn’t complete the answers. As for Colson, the former Aces star had nothing but love and nice words for the former Iowa star.
Sydney Colson Praises Caitlin Clark With Heartfelt Post
During an interview with the ‘Good Follow’ podcast, the veteran guard gave her honest opinion on playing alongside the Fever playmaker. She praised the star for her desire to become a leader, a great player, and a teammate.
“It was cool being on a team with her, getting to see her in another light. It was good to see a lighter side of her. Unfortunately, when you’re injured, you have to adjust your mindset and get mentally tougher. I kept talking to her a lot about staying vocal. You don’t want to lose this time with your teammates just because you’re sidelined—you can still lead and build relationships,” Colson said.

While the 36-year-old guard is one of the free agents from the Indiana Fever, she could be a strong backup guard for any franchise. But Colson hints at retirement in her recent interviews following her latest injury.
