The Indiana Fever is marching towards securing a playoff berth this year. Despite Caitlin Clark addressing the toughest challenges of her injury-filled season, the team has held up quite well. With the likes of Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell coming to the party, Fever made sure that things were running smoothly. Now, another name that has given her all for the team is Lexie Hull. However, in a heartfelt moment with Cameron Brink, the Fever star drew a reaction from Hull’s mother, Jaime Hull.
Fever recently squared off against the Los Angeles Sparks. As both teams tried hard to push for the playoffs, the game ended up turning out to be a heated affair. But amidst all the tension, the sisterly bond between Hull and Brink was pretty much visible.
Jaime Hull ‘Misses’ Cameron Brink As Lexie Hull High-Five Goes Viral
During a point in Friday’s game, the crowd was treated to an adorable moment shared between Cameron Brink and Lexie Hull. After scoring a basket, Hull could be seen walking with her hands up in the air, high-fiving with her teammates. Surprisingly, Brink, who was from her rival team, was spotted instinctively raising her hand playfully and pretending to give Hull a high-five. As the Fever star noted the same, the duo shared a hearty laugh.

Looking at the incident, Hull’s mother, Jaime Hull could not help but get nostalgic. “OMG!! I sure miss @cameronbrink22!!! Once a sister always a sister! @StanfordWBB,” wrote Jaime Hull on her X, now known as Twitter account.

Well, for the uninitiated, both Hull and Brink are former teammates. The duo played together for Stanford for a couple of seasons. Not only that, donning the same colors, Brink and Hull also won the NCAA championship back in 2021. Meanwhile, Hull has been looking in some sublime form. And despite Lexie Hull sharing a scary injury update following the Gabby Williams collision, she has earned significant praise from her coach.

Stephanie White Impressed With Lexie Hull’s Aggressive Play
Back when the Fever faced off against the Minnesota Lynx, things looked quite gloomy for Indiana. They were without the services of Clark, Sophie Cunningham, Sydney Colson, and Aari McDonald. Surely, on paper, it did seem like the WNBA title contenders would run away with the game. However, the reality was quite different. With spirited performances from the likes of Hull, the Lynx had to fight hard to earn a victory. And despite the loss, Hull’s aggressive performance caught Stephanie White’s attention.

“She was aggressive. She was hunting shots, she was aggressive to the rim. You know, she knew we needed another scorer on the floor and because of the attention that Kelsey and AB [Aliyah Boston] get, she was getting free and she was hunting shots,” said White.
Hull dropped a career-high 23 points on the night. En route towards doing so, the Fever star overtook her previous best of 22 points that she scored against the Seattle Storm back in August 2024.
