The Indiana Fever is all set for the 2026 season, and their rookies include high-profile names like Raven Johnson. The former NCAA Champion and 2026 finalist had been one of the top players in the season, and the Fever side used its 10th overall pick to get her to Indiana. Interestingly, she will now play alongside Caitlin Clark, and as Johnson revealed, Clark’s viral wave-off changed her life.
Although the former South Carolina star took the wave-off as motivation to perform better and even delivered a clinical performance against CC’s Iowa team next season, Mariah Rose, Jalen Rose’s daughter, saw another angel in it.

Mariah Rose Slam’s Caitlin Clark’s Silence
During her recent video, the player recalled the video and called it racial on CC’s part, with the disrespect shown on the floor.
“It’s honestly starting to piss me the fk off. Directly address it. And guess what? I used to always have people tell me, well, Caitlin’s addressed it before. Caitlin’s not racist. It’s not. Keep addressing it. Make it very clear where you stand. I’m sorry, is it inconvenient for you to have to say, sorry, I don’t condone racism more than one fing time?” she said in the video.
“You know what the fk is going on with your fans… If it bothers you that people are being racist on your behalf, say something. You are not mute. You know how to use that fng phone. Take a little video. Do a little notes app post. Screenshot it and post it. I am against racism. I don’t stand for that s**t. I don’t stand for hate against any person. And if you are a racist person, you are no fan of mine. It is that simple,” Rose concluded.

Though it was completely related to the game and there was no ‘racial’ angle to the same, CC already addressed the issue before, calling “any sort of racism and hateful comments” as upsetting, and also added that “Those aren’t fans, those are trolls.”
Aliyah Boston Points Out Resolution On Caitlin Clark-Raven Johnson’s Possible Awkwardness
Another South Carolina girl on the Fever roster is Aliyah Boston, who also earlier didn’t like teaming up with Clark, for her 40-point performance to hand them a loss in the 2023 season. While she resolved her issue with the Iowa Star, she is applying similar logic to the possible drama between Clark and Johnson.
“It’s so funny because the fans always have more beef than the players actually do. You read all this stuff and fans are hating on one person, hating on another, and you’re playing with that said person. I think it’s going to be fine.” Boston said on the Post Move Podcast.
As AB and CC are now pillars of the Fever franchise, Johnson will also look to focus on her game, settling some college issues if there are any.
