The Indiana Fever are feeling positive with NCAA Champion Raven Johnson’s addition, as they also retain their 2025 roster, adding Sophie Cunningham as their final piece from the semi-finalist side. To provide depth and competition within, the side also signed multiple players on training camp contracts, one of them, Megan McConnell, is quite familiar with the Indiana organization, though.
The Pittsburgh star is the sister of the Indiana Pacers’ guard TJ McConnell. Both played for the Duquesne Dukes in their college career and will now be working with the Indiana basketball franchises.

Indiana Fever Signs Megan McConnell
The Indiana Fever front office showed their real intentions by signing Kelsey Mitchell back on a supermax contract. While they also made some impactful signings in free agency, the front office took conscious measures to add a few players on training camp contracts, too.
The recent addition, Megan McConnell, is one such impactful signing who thrived in her college career, leading her side in steals, rebounds, and triple-doubles.

After signing with the Phoenix Mercury in 2025, the player played just 13 minutes before being injured in that game and did not play again for the rest of the season. Later, she played in the WNBL in Australia throughout the winter months, averaging 11.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game while getting crucial experience.

While the side already filled its roster and also added multiple role players in training camp, Stephani White and the team will look for fitting pieces to make them a title contender in 2026.
Indiana Fever In ‘Win Now’ Mode
After the 2025 heartbreak, the Fever team has once again assembled a team capable of challenging for the championship. Headlined by the generational synergy of Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston, the side has a number of ‘game changers’ on the roster.
The backcourt is arguably the league’s best, with Kelsey Mitchell providing elite secondary scoring and Sophie Cunningham stretching defenses as a premier sharpshooter and physical enforcer. On the wing, Lexie Hull serves as the defensive heart of the team, while the addition of Monique Billings provides the frontcourt with veteran toughness and transition speed.

Yet, on the flip side, the Fever team ranks third in the best starting lineup in the 2026 season. This roster’s depth will be crucial in competing with elite rivals like the New York Liberty and defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces. The Minnesota Lynx and the Wings also loom as a disciplined tactical challenge.
However, with Clark’s gravity, Boston’s interior dominance, and this fortified supporting cast, the Fever possess the explosive scoring and defensive versatility required to finally hoist the trophy.
