The WNBA took a bold step and confirmed dates for the 2026 WNBA lottery draft even before the CBA confirmation. While the move shows the league’s positive intentions for the upcoming season, the franchises also confirmed their representatives for the event.
As for the Lynx, their dynamic duo, Natisha Heideman and Courtney Williams, will take the stage. During the drawing, 14 balls serially numbered from 1 through 14 will be placed into a lottery machine.
After mixing them, the presenter will draw four balls randomly to form a four-digit combination. The combination will determine which franchise receives the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming WNBA draft.

Amid the CBA negotiations standoff, the WNBA fans have something to cheer for, as the league holds the draft lottery on November 23. Los Angeles will host the event, with ESPN televising the proceedings from 05:30 PM ET.
While every team sends their representative for the event, who is either an active player or a franchise legend, the Lynx confirmed Stud Budz – Natisha Heideman and Courtney Williams as their representatives this year.

Minnesota has a 28.5% chance of picking second, 38.5% chance of drawing the third pick, and 6.9% chance of selecting fourth in the 2026 WNBA Draft.
