The CBA negotiation may be a discouraging scene for many WNBA players, as many are still developing their skills and competing in various leagues during the off-season. Napheesa Collier’s injury forced her to sit out of the Unrivaled Season 2. The Liberty’s Natasha Cloud also suffered an injury and was unsure about her availability for Unrivalled season 2.
But the trainers gave her the green signal. She said she’s being mindful of her body, building up her muscles, and also looking to adjust to the fast-paced 3-on-3 format of the game.

The talented guard was frustrated with the uncertainty over the upcoming season and mentioned that the players can’t even plan their schedules due to incomplete CBA negotiations. At the same time, she was happy to be part of the Unrivaled League.
Talking highly about her new team, she said, “I love escaping New York during the winter months b/c it was actually really cold in the wind tunnels and the snow but it’s been great. I love our team. We have a really good team. We have good chemistry and energy.”

Natasha Cloud Blasts WNBA’s Plan To Eliminate Team Housing
In December, the WNBA presented an offer that contained two surprises for the players’ association, despite the high commercial rates included in the offer. The first one was the rescheduling, which brought back the preseason dates. And the second one was the rescinding of the team housing policy. The house policy affects most players in the league.
Understanding the same, former WNBA Champion Natasha Cloud wrote directly to the authorities, pleading with them to keep the housing policy intact. “This makes no sense for our younger players, for the players that get cut and are stuck in leases. Instead of teams that bring in replacement players, nor for players in bigger markets. Let alone talking about player safety in safe areas. @wnbacommish we want a girls girl,” Cloud wrote.
While the league has yet to produce a new proposal, players have expressed their discontent with multiple flaws in the current offer. Cloud is famous for her blunt responses as she showed her support for the New York Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani.
