During the Pacers’ recent run till Game 7 of the NBA Finals, the Indiana Fever players were in attendance at the Gainbridge Arena. Ironically, the Pacers lost just one game with Caitlin in the stands.
Now that the Fever side is crowned champions, Indiana Pacers’ guard and superstar Tyrese Haliburton shared a post ‘LFG’. While Tom Brady originally used the line, it fits perfectly for the Indiana Fever team’s current victory.
The team, which showed much promise with high-profile signings, struggled in the league. But their Commissioner’s Cup run was impressive. Especially wins over last season’s finalists – the Lynx and Liberty side- will be morale-boosting for the players and fans. And that’s how the ‘LFG’ feeling fits right in.
