A loss against Lunar Owls put the Breeze BC under pressure to deliver. While the team had a great start to the season, they missed the path to the top seed with close losses. But then Paige Bueckers showed why the league commissioner named her a ‘superstar,’ making game-winning plays in every game.
In the recent game, the player delivered an all-around performance, making it one-sided in Breeze BC’s favor. Coach Noelle Quinn was in awe of the guard and praised the player.

Noelle Quinn Calls Paige Bueckers One-Of-One
In the WNBA, the Dallas Wings coach outlined a plan for the Bueckers with the No. 1 pick ahead of the 2026 season and sees the player as a trump card for the championship. The Breeze side is also using her leadership to push for the championship.
Lauding the star, coach Quinn said, “It’s been an honor to coach her. The ability to draft her and build this team with her has been amazing to watch. She leads not only with her voice but by action. She demands from herself what she asks from her teammates. She’s a savant in a lot of ways. Not just a student of the game, but working every day on what she needs to improve while perfecting what she already does well.”

“Her connection with people matters. Championships are fleeting, but impact and connection last. She understands that at a young age. She’s one of one, and she makes this team go. I’m grateful for this opportunity and not taking any moment for granted,” She added.

Paige Bueckers Making Strong Case For MVP Accolade
In the inaugural season, Chelsea Grey showcased her offensive flair, passing ability, and game awareness to win the title and MVP award. The 2026 season is no different; the veteran guard leads in scoring, assists, game winners, and three-point shooting.
