The 2025-26 NCAA Season brought some exciting plays and results as multiple stars shone for their teams, posing a strong challenge for the title. Azzi Fudd for the UConn Huskies, Lauren Betts for the UCLA Bruins, and Joyce Edwards for the LSU Tigers are on a scoring spree. Olivia Miles, though, stepped in when it mattered most and recorded a career-high 40 points against Baylor.
The defensively strong Baylor team had no answers for the 23-year-old guard, who matched Caitlin Clark’s record in the game. At the start of the season, Miles defended her move to TCU, and up till now, she has been on a roll for the Big 12 side.

Olivia Miles With Career High Night
One of the top guards from the class was always a threat to the opposition defenses, and Miles showed how she can expose the gaps in the top defending team with ease. She scored 40 points with a career-high 10 three-pointers, which is the highest number by an away team player in the NCAA in the last 25 years.
The star also matched Caitlin Clark’s record for most points in a quarter to help her side gain an advantage in the game. Along with her 40 points, the crafty guard dished out four assists and collected six rebounds in the game.

The Minnesota Lynx has the second overall pick and could use her playmaking and scoring. Midway into the NCAA Season, some analysts also proposed combining Miles and Paige Bueckers’ firepower to put the Wings in a competitive position, while the Sky franchise will also be an exciting destination with a chance to lead a roster full of promising forwards.
Anyhow, the TCU guard could be one of the impactful draft picks in 2026 and would look to make a deeper run in the NCAA Tournament as well.
