The tussle has finally come to an end. With significant changes to WNBA players’ pay scales, the authorities have finalized a new CBA deal. Now, this immediately rules out the dilemma growing over the possibility of a lockout. And now, with things looking brighter, several WNBA stars have praised the initiative.
Recently, it was Caitlin Clark who seemed elated. She pointed out how the new deal was a sign that women’s sports as a whole were progressing in the right direction. Meanwhile, joining the list of happy WNBA athletes, Paige Bueckers could not hide her excitement ahead of the new season.

Paige Bueckers Happy To Get What She ‘Deserves’
Bueckers has been on a roll since her time with the UConn Huskies. Showing some of her elite-level skills, the 24-year-old won the NCAA championship with the Huskies. Next up, she also carried her form into the WNBA. Clinching the Rookie of the Year honors, the star player announced herself as the future star.
And as her fans are looking forward to seeing yet another dominant season from her, the 2025 WNBA All-Star said, “From the way that the game is expanded, we want our earnings to expand as well. So we’re really happy and excited with the way things turned out and we’re really, really glad that we stood on.”

Will We See The Paige Bueckers-Azzi Fudd Partnership Again?
The duo was one of the menacing ones during their college days. But even as the 24-year-old transitioned into the WNBA, Fudd has continued her dominance for the Huskies. And such a strong showing has ignited heavy rumors about the Wings front office probably making the two re-unite.
But when asked about the same, Fudd did not show much excitement. She simply said, “I mean, maybe.”
