Just like her 2025 WNBA rookie season, Paige Bueckers is having a blast in the offseason. She attended many Texas City teams’ games and also cheered for the college sides. Bueckers stole the show during the Dallas Cowboys’ blowout win over the Washington Commanders.
While she is enjoying the WNBA life, despite the poor Wings’ record, the guard received another mega accolade – an NCAA championship ring. Sharing the images, she expressed her excitement.

Entering UConn as a standout performer from Hopkins High School in Minnesota, the top player of the class was already a superstar in WCBB. Finding a perfect mentor in Geno Auriemma, PB developed into an elite guard, adding playmaking and explosive scoring to her gameplay. Even though a horrifying injury derailed her progress, she signed off with an NCAA Championship in her final season.

The Wings star received her championship ring on October 23, with the new season starting in the month. Sharing the pictures of the ring, Bueckers wrote, “In Loveeee” and “Details” In her Instagram story.

The ring has unique features, including a removable top that becomes a pendant, revealing a piece of the championship game ball. The UConn Coach, Geno Auriemma, provided a special message for the Dallas Wings regarding Bueckers as they try for better upcoming seasons. As for UConn, in 2025-26, they will look to ride on Azzi Fudd, Buecker’s girlfriend, to defend their title.

As per recent updates, PB is one of the final 30 candidates for the NCAA Women of the Year award. The star had been an incredible athlete on the court and an influential personality off the court, making her a strong candidate for the accolade.

The 30-athlete list consists of 10 players in each division. Notably, the NCAA Champion is the sole basketball player in the top 30 list. The winner will be announced in January at the NCAA Convention.
Interestingly, only two basketball players have won this award in 35 years, with UConn’s Rebecca Lobo (1995 winner) and Tennessee’s Nicky Anosike (2008 winner) claiming the honor.
