As the off-season starts, many players reflect on their season accomplishments and memories. Shey Peddy also shared a post with her impressive season with the Indiana Fever. The 36-year-old guard was a key rotation player for Stephanie White and received love from her teammates.
Earlier, Natasha Howard shared an emotional message for her teammates, reacting to the season-end, and now the midseason acquisition also poured her heart out in her post.
Shey Paddy Shares Emotional Post On Season With Fever
After injury to Caitlin Clark, Aari McDonald and Sydney Colson, the Fever opted for former Vegas player and Odyssey Sims as playmakers. Though Sims took the starter role, Peddy was another explosive scorer and playmaker from the bench. But after a hard-fought loss in the semifinal, the star shared photos with the Fever players and memories of the season.

In the post, she wrote, “Joining a team late isn’t easy, but from the moment I stepped in, it felt like I was meant to be here. From the bonds I made to the challenges we faced, this season was truly 1 of 1, and I’m blessed to have been a part of this special group. Thank you Fever fans for the love, support and showing out every game! Thank you to my teammates for rocking with me and making this season unforgettable. My heart is full because of you ladies. “We all we got. We all we need.”
Many Fever players showered love as Aliyah Boston wrote, “You’re amazing basketball player, the besttt” while Damaris Dantis commented, “Shey!! The Bestt”. Makayla Timpson also reacted to the post with “Shey P, My Dawg” comment. Aliyah Boston boasted on the Indiana Fever’s strong team chemistry amid the playoff surge. Looking at the love these players showed, AB’s analysis was spot on.

As for Paddy, the Fever stint came at the right time. With new teams entering the league, veteran stars are in high demand. Odyssey Sims emerged as a prime target for two WNBA teams in free agency after an impressive run with the Indiana Fever. Similarly, the seven-year veteran guard could land in an expansion team in search of an experienced playmaker.

The player played nine regular-season games and eight playoff games. Her contribution was 5.2 points and 1.7 assists in 14.1 minutes per game during the regular season, a performance that carried over into the playoff period as well.
The accomplishment is all the more impressive given the time she spent with the team and her role as the second team’s leader on the court. 5-foot-7 playmaker made her fourth appearance in the playoffs, advancing to the WNBA finals in 2021 with the Mercury. She almost had another chance at the tile, but the overtime loss to the Aces shattered that goal.
