To nobody’s surprise, the Indiana Fever are down 4-6 in Caitlin Clark’s absence. That doesn’t mean the team has no other superstar. They have Sophie Cunningham, Natasha Howard, and Aliyah Boston to zero down on the opponent. And this came clear during their latest victory over the Las Vegas Aces.
Indian outlasted the Aces 80-70 during their clash at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Through and throughout the game, the team never seemed to miss the Iowa star. However, there was someone from the forward court who kept the spirit high. And Cunningham was there to thank her very much.
Sophie Cunningham Sends Love To Natasha Howard Despite Her Chirping Comment
During the Fever’s victory, Howard was nothing short of a powerhouse. She set a strong defensive tone for the Fever as they held their opponents below 80 points for the third time in four games.
The three-time WNBA champion later mentioned that she was ‘chirping’ on her teammates, including Cunningham. And just like that, the “teammates chirped back” at her. Reacting to her unique analogy, Sophie sent love to Howard after the game.
“You’re welcome,” Cunningham said via ClutchPoints.
Much love to the @IndianaFever

Not only that, but Howard also went on to lock in a double-double to her name. She had 18 points, 13 rebounds, and three steals while the Fever cruised over the Aces. Additionally, Indiana’s record improved to 13-12 after the victory as the team waits for Clark to join the spirit.
