The Indiana Fever and Pacers share a deep connection, despite both teams competing in different leagues. Other franchise players hardly attend their NBA team’s games, but more and more Fever stars are on the courtside showing support to the team. Sophie Cunningham is one Fever star who is a regular at the Gainbridge Arena for games or social events.
Recently, Cunningham stole the spotlight at an Indiana Pacers game with Tyrese Haliburton’s Fiancée, Jade Jones. And now she was at a crucial game against the Celtics.

Sophie Cunningham Attends Indiana Pacers Game
The Indiana Pacers are having a tough season at the moment, with the team missing its key players and currently outside the playoff race. The 2024-25 NBA finalist, however, has the full backing of its fanbase, especially from the Fever franchise players.
Aliyah Boston openly mentioned that she would support the Pacers only, even though the side is missing many important players. Cunningham didn’t explicitly mention her support, but she regularly attends the games. She was at the courtside once again in the game against the Celtics.
Notably, the side performed impressively and defeated the top Celtics team in a close game, improving their season record to 9-31. Pascal Siakam and Jay Huff led the team to the victory as Cunningham and the arena fans cheered their side.

Sophie Cunningham’s Future At Fever Franchise Under Question
The former Missouri player has already expressed a desire to sign a multi-year deal with her next franchise and also receive a hefty paycheck for her services. With the number of superstars on the roster and the Fever planning to add more stars for the title, it’s unlikely that the team would offer her a multiyear contract.
Moreover, many predictions indicate that the franchise views Lexie Hull as a key piece for the future and would likely secure her in the expansion draft, leaving the former Mercury star unprotected.
