The off-season is bringing the Indiana Fever players closer with everyone connected via social media and updating each other and fans with their new ventures and or achievements. When Caitlin Clark was joining the NBC pregame show, Aerial Powers and Aliyah Boston shared supportive reactions.
But for CC, her idea of showing love is different. As she often does, she tried to troll her ‘favorite’ teammate, Sophie Cunningham, with her comment, but the feisty forward also reciprocated with her own comment.

Sophie Cunningham Takes Swipe At Caitlin Clark
Earlier this week, Sophie Cunningham shared a post promoting new Adidas shoes – Adidas Adistar Control 5, and captioned the post, “These are legit everyone’s favorite shoes!”
CC seconded that thought and commented on the post, “I promise you they aren’t my favorite.” Cunningham playfully replied, “And I promise you we get better treated at adidas.”

Amid both stars firing funny one-liners at each other, their Fever teammates also responded to the post, showing love for the former Mercury star’s kicks. Lexie Hull even made a special demand to Cunningham, while Aliyah Boston commented, “I’m obsessed with these shoes.” with emojis.

Caitlin Clark Debuts New Nike Kobe 6 Colorway
The Fever playmaker is eager to set foot on the basketball court once again. She played in just 13 games in the season and provided a positive update on her return. Adding to the same, Clark shared a sneak peek from her latest training session at the Fever facility.
But interestingly, her training wasn’t the only thing that caught the attention of fans who saw her Instagram post. Many also noticed that she was wearing a new colorway of the Nike Kobe 6.
CC set a record last season with both her Kobe 5 and Kobe 6 variants becoming the most-worn NBA shoes in December. In January, the Nike Kobe 5 in Indiana Fever colorway is the most-worn shoe in the NBA. While the star is excelling with multiple kicks, topping the charts, fans are still waiting for the signature shoes to make their debut.
