Caitlin Clark missed her tenth straight game for the Indiana Fever. And while this is quite concerning, the team had a lot of positives to take away. With the Chicago Sky posing a threat, the Fever outfit made sure that they did not flinch. Surely enough, Stephanie White was utterly elated after witnessing her girls drop such a spirited performance.
The 92-70 victory came like a breath of fresh air for the Fever. After back-to-back losses against the Mercury and Sparks, the Caitlin Clark-less team celebrated the victory to its heart’s content. And while congratulations poured in, the most heartfelt of them came from the Fever coach.
Stephanie White Is Proud Of Her Team
Fever has turned it around ever since they came back from the All-Star break. After losing consecutive games to Liberty, Indiana won five games in a row. Returning to the locker room, the players were aptly rewarded by their coach. Storming into the locker room, White delivered a resilient pep talk.
The Fever coach praised how well the team performed. She also added that this was the level of performance that they needed to match in the coming days. Reading out the stats, White seemed utterly pleased with the shot distribution of the team. Terming the effort “deep” and “resilient,” White made sure that her girls were hyped up enough for the next game.
“We did a really, really good job. And that’s something that we’re going to have to continue to utilize, right? We did it. We did a great job. 11 offensive rebounds. We outscored them on second chance points, 21 assists on 33 major field goals. Shot distribution was really good. Just overall, like strong team effort. We are bigger. We are greater than the meat,” said White.
"We are bigger. We are greater than the me." ❤️

Stephanie White Keeping Moral High For Fever Stars
The Fever had a tough game against the Seattle Storm. With the two teams going neck-and-neck, the chips were down for Kelsey Mitchell. However, even in the face of adversity, Mitchell did not break. She held her ground and delivered a spirited performance. And such a wholehearted effort had Stephanie White praising her in the locker room.

“I’m really proud of you guys,” White said.“There were so many ways in a close game and in game situations where we grew today that were huge for us y’all. Everybody contributed. Everybody contributed and gave us a lift. Kels, I know it’s a tough (expletive) shooting day, but the way you facilitated and that one big jumper you made.”
