Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Isabelle Harrison came from an athletic family—her father played professional football, and several siblings excelled in sports. She rose as a top high school recruit, earning McDonald’s All-American honors in 2011.
At the University of Tennessee, Harrison developed into a dominant frontcourt player for the Lady Vols. She averaged double figures in scoring and rebounding during her junior and senior seasons, becoming one of the SEC’s most impactful players. Unfortunately, an ACL injury during her senior year cut her season short, but her talent still secured her a first-round WNBA draft selection.
Harrison was selected 12th overall in the 2015 WNBA Draft by the Phoenix Mercury. Due to her ACL recovery, she missed her rookie season and debuted in 2016.
San Antonio Stars (2017–2018): Harrison earned more playing time, proving herself as a starter and double-double threat.
Dallas Wings (2019–2022): She became a consistent interior presence, averaging around 10 points and 5 rebounds per game, while guarding some of the league’s toughest post players.
Chicago Sky (2023–present): Harrison signed with the Sky, bringing veteran leadership, defense, and toughness to a rebuilding squad. Injuries limited her availability early, but she remains a valuable frontcourt option when healthy.
