With the big WNBA draft coming up, the franchises are busy sorting out their last-minute preferences. Till now, the free agency has witnessed some surprising trades like that of Angel Reese. On the contrary, reports of Sophie Cunningham signing for the Indiana Fever were an expected turn of events.
However, for expansion team Toronto Tempo, they needed to get things right. After all, who would want to kickstart their WNBA journey on a false footing? Thankfully, till now, they are progressing quite well. Turning down multiple high-paying offers, Sandy Brondello chose the Tempo. And while she is rejoining forces with her old acquaintances, names like Isabelle Harrison are eager to excel.

Isabelle Harrison Joins Toronto Tempo For 2026
According to recent reports from The New York Post’s Madeline Kenney, the Tempo has signed Harrison for a year. Coming to the details of the contract, she is slated to receive $400,000 as her salary. Suiting up for the New York Liberty last season, her chemistry with Brondello was quite telling. Now, the Toronto front office would be looking forward to a similar scenario this year, too.
Following the 2015 12th overall pick’s signing, general manager Monica Wright Rogers seemed pretty excited. Rogers stated, “Isabelle brings toughness, experience, and versatility to our frontcourt. She’s a proven professional who understands her role, competes on every possession, and provides valuable depth and leadership as we continue to shape our roster.”
