The Indiana Fever had a strong comeback in the regular season with multiple players out injured. Finishing sixth in the league, they had tougher opponents in the Atlanta Dream. Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell were key to Stephanie White’s team’s success, and the side once again looked up to their core stars to put up a strong challenge for the championship.
Mitchell was in MVP discussions for her performances while Boston advances in the latest ESPN ranking after an impressive Indiana Fever season. The star’s performance in game 2 was a clear indication of why the forward earned a place in the elites. Tyrese Haliburton was in attendance for the game and celebrated wildly as the former UCLA star netted a three-pointer.
Tyrese Haliburton’s Wild Reaction To Aliyah Boston’s 3-Pointer
Boston led the Indiana Fever’s emotional playoff celebration after surpassing expectations. The team had to overcome multiple challenges, and the feat was celebration-worthy. But in the first game AB failed miserably scoring just eight points in the game.

In Game 2, though, she was active on both ends of the floor and even scored a three-pointer that hyped up Tyrese Haliburton. During the third quarter, though the Fever had a five-point lead, her three-pointer extended the lead to eight points, killing off the comeback try from the Dream side.
Caitlin Clark and the bench were animated, and the crowd also applauded the massive basket. Haliburton celebrated as if one of his Pacers teammates had netted the range shot. Ironically, Boston shot just 20% from the three-point range and shot 50% in the playoff game.
