The Unrivaled league produced memorable events with Marina Mabrey smashing the league record, Dominique Malonga crashing the board, and fans have enjoyed every bit of action. The 3-on-3 games were fast, but the team standings changed even faster every game, with no team having a clear advantage over the others.
Yet after nine games wrapped up, here are the top-performing teams in the league who have better chances of making it to the playoffs and even clinching the title.

Unrivaled Season 2 Power Ranking
At the end of four weeks, every team tasted wins and defeats in nine matchups each. Some of the match results were a bit obvious, while some needed extra efforts from the underdogs to change the narrative. Based on performances so far, the team rankings are as follows.
8. Lunar Owls BC
Last season’s playoff team suffered a heavy loss early in the season, losing their charismatic leader, Napheesa Collier. Yet Marina Mabrey and Aliyah Edwards’ duo was a competitive pairing. Sadly, Edwards’ injury left the veteran guard seeking an offensive partner, and she delivered solo performances to record some wins. At 2-7 record, their season is almost over, while they play for some pride, they can impact others’ rankings, as they did with a win over Rose BC.
7. Hive BC

The Hive BC moved up from the bottom place with a win over the Lunar BC. The side possesses all-around offence, but defensively, they are weaker compared to their competitors. Four of its five available players scored in double digits, the extraordinary feat didn’t reflect on the scoreboard and translated into results, though. The side also possesses a threat to topple the rankings, but needs to be consistent on the floor.
6. Rose BC
Defending champions showed their class early on in the season, but they are heavily reliant on Chelsea Gray. The veteran guard played in the WNBA finals, the most games from the bunch, yet remained to the point for the side. Unfortunately, Angel Reese’s absence and lack no support from the rest of the crew impacted their recent results and also raised questions about their ability to defend the title. Reese also shared an emotional message about not being able to play in season 2.
5. Vinyl BC
One of the most unpredictable sides in the season would be Vinyl BC, who can win games against the top teams like Laces BC and Breeze BC, but lose against the Lunar Owls BC and Hive BC. While their forward lineup has the capability to impact both ends of the floor, they need to step up every night to go for the playoff spot. Rae Burrell and Brittney Griner hold the key to success, while the support cast has enough firepower to get the job done.
4. Breeze BC

One of the youngest and most talented rosters in the season would be Breeze BC. The roster, filled with top WNBA picks, showed its capability early but lost track in the middle of the season. Paige Bueckers is certainly playing like the MVP of the league, Dominique Malonga is a double-double machine, and Cameron Brik provides defensive stability. The combination looks lethal on paper, but lacks experience on the floor. Rickea Jackson’s performance matters most in the close games, and she will have to step up for the team.
3. Phantom BC

Another top side that could be a dark horse in season 2. The credit is not on any single player who makes or breaks the plays for the side, but on their starters starting to click together and winning games at the right time. Kelsey Plum, Aliyah Boston, Tiffany Hayes, and Kiki Iriafen are all averaging 10+ points per game, with Natasha Cloud also closing in on the double-digit scoring. While their offense looks solid, AB and Iriafen provide the rim protection needed to win the game. Boston leads the league in blocks per game and is a silent candidate for MVP, delivering on both ends of the floor.
2. Mist BC

Alisha Grey was one of the MVP candidates in the WNBA, and in Unrivalled, she showed why. The player was unstoppable at times, winning games with her sheer offensive flair. Combining her with multi-tasking, Breanna Stewart hands the side a team that could beat anyone in a 3-on-5 match-up. Gray is averaging 23.4 points to Stewie’s 19.6 points per game. The Mist leads the league in points per game, averaging 75.8. They beat the Laces in their first matchup, but the recent loss heightened their opponent’s strength rather than Mist’s weakness.
1. Laces BC
Provably out-and-out winner of the season right from the start with their roster filled by a number of two-way players, right from the starters to the player number 6. The trio that is Alyssa Thomas, Brittney Sykes, and Jackie Young is pretty outstanding. Outside of their starters, Maddy Siegrist, Naz Hillmon, and Jordin Canada do their parts nearly every night as well. The Laces’ five-game win streak was unfortunately cut by the Vinyl on Saturday. They have the perfect mix of ability, experience, and most importantly, hunger to win a title.
