At the start of the Unrivaled league, Rose BC, Mist BC and Laces BC were favorites for the season 2 title with their power-packed rosters. Breeze BC, Vinyl BC, and Phantom BC were dark horses with impactful stars on the floor.
Though all six teams made it to the knockout rounds following a strong regular season, the pictures were different. Mid-season Unrivaled power-ranking showed trust in Laces BC and Mist BC, while the Phantom BC continued to rise in the rankings. At the end of the regular season, the picture got a lot clearer as Kelsey Plum and co. took a commanding position in the standings with their dominating plays, and it also reflected in the season-ending awards.

Phantom BC Dominates Unrivaled Season 2
In the inaugural season of the 3-on-3 league, the Phantom BC finished last with just four wins and 10 losses. With Sabrina Ionescu and Natasha Cloud on the roster, it was a shocker for fans. In the 2026 season, the team guarded Natasha Cloud and Satou Sabally, bringing in Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Plum, and Kiki Iriafen to the line-up.
The shakeup turned the tables completely, putting the Phantom BC at the top position with 11 wins and just three losses. More importantly, the side put up a seven-game winning run at the end d the season with three of its stars contributing heavily, who earned major honors in the season.
Phantom BC’s Kelsey Plum Earns Spot In All-Unrivaled First Team Selection
Any team with Kelsey Plum on the roster will be one of the toughest sides to beat. The gutsy guard took challenge in the WNBA as she left the championship Aces franchise for the young and exciting Los Angeles Sparks. At Unrivaled, too, she had a competitive squad that needed a spark to get the results on the floor, and who else would be better at igniting fire in players than KP?
Finishing the season with a team-high 18.6 points, five assists, and 4.9 rebounds, the veteran guard earned a place in the All-Unrivaled First Team along with MVP candidates Chelsea Gray and Paige Bueckers.

Aliyah Boston Takes Home Defensive Player Of The Year Accolade
One of the key factors that helped the Phantom BC take control of games was their defensive game, led by Aliyah Boston. The player earned her first All-Defensive team honor in the WNBA and continued to take control of the paint in the shorter game format, too.
The player led the league with 29 blocks in the season and was third in the rebounds category, earning her the Defensive Player of the Year award.

Phantom BC Head Coach Wins Coach Of the Year Award
The Phantom BC had a challenging team and needed a coach to guide them to success. in 2025, the situation was similar, but Adam Harrington failed to capitalize on the same. The 2026 coach, Ronika Hodges, aimed to bring the energy in their game and played fast-paced basketball.
Under Hodges, the Phantom leads the league with an 11-3 record, including seven straight wins, and it also has the No. 1 seed in the Unrivaled Playoffs, getting to the semifinals. So there is no surprise with Hodges winning the Coach of the Year accolade.
