Forbes is one of the premium magazines, a trusted source for net worths, rankings, and more. The magazine features a special edition titled “30 Under 30,” highlighting 30 influential people under the age of 30. For the WNBA, Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark are irreplaceable entities in any such list, but they were not added in the recent announcement.
Aliyah Boston, Paige Bueckers, and Napheesa Collier lead WNBA athletes in Forbes’ 2025 30 under 30 list. While missing out on the top two most influential stars was a shock for many fans, here is the reason for the absence of Clark and Reese from the list.

Why Caitlin Clark And Angel Reese Are Not In Forbes’ 30 Under 30 List
The Forbes list of young achievers of the year encompasses a wide range of areas, including entertainment, gaming, sports, technology, and business. While gaming and sport are the most measurable entities in that list, fans wanted the former Iowa and LSU star’s selection.
While many assumed their injuries hampered their chances, the real reason is Forbes’ policy. As per the ruling, no player or any individual could feature in more than one Forbes’ list of 30 under 30. As for the 2024 rookies, they were in the previous such list for their impressive rookie seasons and hence missed the cut this year.

Ironically, Caitlin Clark topped Forbes’ list of the most powerful female athletes, which made her current snub from the 30 over 30 even more shocking. But now he can’t be part of any future 30 over 30 list following her name in the 2025 list, and the same applies to Reese.
