The Indiana Fever had a stellar run last year. Despite missing most of their star players, Stephanie White and her team managed to reach the semifinals. Thus, as the 2026 season approached, all eyes were on how the team went about their business. With almost 80% of the players entering free agency, building a good roster was always a challenge.
Thankfully, the front office did not mess things up. Initially, they tried to secure the core by offering contract extensions to the likes of Lexie Hull. Gradually, Sophie Cunningham and more, too, joined in. And such a tactic from the management has left Caitlin Clark amazed.

Caitlin Clark Has A Lot Of Reasons To Get Excited About The Indiana Fever Roster
The 24-year-old star will be looking to make a storming comeback. As the former Rookie of the Year had some impressive training camps, Clark would now want to put her best foot forward. Interestingly, she will have quite a talented roster to have her back. And this is something that the 2-time WNBA All-Star feels happy about.
“Give our front office credit. It’s a very condensed timeline. It takes a little bit of luck to get back to that point (of a deep playoff run), but I feel like our roster construction is great and gives us an opportunity to do that,” said Clark.

Well, the star player has every reason to be excited. After all, the Fever has done quite a bit of shopping this offseason. The roster looks solid with the additions of Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, Cunningham, and Hull. Apart from that, the team also signed Aliyah Boston for a supermax salary. And if that was not enough, there’s Raven Johnson, Monique Billings, and Damiris Dantas to aid Clark in her quest for victory.

Caitlin Clark Aims To Work Harder In Practice Ahead Of 2026 Season

Coming back from a groin injury, Stephanie White initially wanted to go easy on herself. But we are talking about Clark here. Having transformed the WNBA almost single-handedly, the 24-year-old is not okay with participating in selected practice drills. Rather, she wants to get herself involved in every drill.
“I’m a person that doesn’t want to sit out a single rep, like I want to be in there every single time. But I think just being a little bit smarter with my body … whether that’s recovery, whether that’s pre-court treatment, whatever it is,” Clark stated.

Thus, with all eyes on the 2-time WNBA All-Star, all eyes are on how her season pans out.
