The 30th season of the league will be underway in a few days. Teams like the Los Angeles Sparks celebrated the completion of 30 years in the league. The 2012 champions, the Indiana Fever, also celebrated 26 years in the league and reached the playoffs 15 times.
Yet their recent season was one of their best performances in those 26 years, except for the championship year. The franchise is looking to better its performance in the upcoming season and recently announced its training camp roster.

Indiana Fever Releases Training Camp Roster
The season will start on May 8, while the Indiana Fever will play three preseason games from April 25 to May 2. Before naming the final roster for the season, the team released the names of 16 players on the training camp roster.
The side worked through the free agency and WNBA Draft to form a competitive squad. Apart from those signing, the team added four players to training camp contracts, bringing the total to 16.

Indiana Fever Players Excited For Day 1 Of Training
The 2026 season brings high expectations for a roster that almost won the title last season. On paper, the Fever side ranks among the top five starting lineups in the season. The team also provided positive updates on returning players, many of whom struggled with injuries in the offseason.
On day 1 of the training, the Indiana Fever shared a video showcasing the excitement of players, from rookies to veteran stars and the franchise’s core.
Interestingly, this would be their final year at the current training facility, as the franchise dropped a big update on a $78 million facility that could be operational in 2027.
