Fans are already worried about the absence of players like Lexie Hull and Aliyah Boston in the preseason game, but at the same time, they will have Caitlin Clark back on the floor with new additions.
The franchise managed to assemble the 2025 semifinalist team along with some influential stars who could fit well with the core of the team. One such addition is Monique Billings, who was a shining star for the Valkyries in 2025.

While the franchise’s free-agent signings impressed Clark, she spoke highly of Monique Billings. In the press conference, she said,

Still, with many injuries in the 2025 season, Clark stated that bringing up the ball each time against the pressure was exhausting, claiming that the Fever needs to “find somebody that can handle the ball a little bit.”
