The 2026 season is finally here, with pre-season games starting on April 25. The WNBA announced that its official app will offer free live streaming of pre-season games, giving fans a chance to analyze their team. The Liberty will host the Indiana Fever, who had multiple players, including Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham, and Lexie Hull, on the injury list during the off-season.
The franchise revealed the complete training camp roster and also provided a positive update during the training camp, but the current update left Fever fans stressed.

Fans React To Aliyah Boston And Lexie Hull’s Injury Update
More than half of the 2025 Fever roster is back for the 2026 season as the team is looking to run it back for the championship, following an impressive performance that put them in the semifinals. Their key issue in 2025 was injuries, and the franchise is looking to avoid a similar situation with the depth on the roster.
Ahead of the first pre-season game, though, the franchise provided a worrisome update mentioning possible absentees that include Aliyah Boston, Lexie Hull, Ty Harris, and Damiris Dantas.

Boston, Hull, and Harris have been participating in the portions of practice open to media so far this week.
While Dantas is fit and will join the team sooner, fans are already worried about AB and Hull’s situation, as both players are key members for the championship run.

This game is MEANINGLESS…what are you crying about???? If you can't handle it you have way bigger issues than someone not playing a preseason game.

While the franchise is taking a cautious approach to the players’ fitness and will be looking to have them ready for the actual season, fans’ concerns are to the point. The 2023 rookie, though, is already looking ahead to the 2026 season and comparing it to the team’s 2025 performance.
Aliyah Boston Makes Honest Admission About Hard Year
The Fever front office showed massive trust in Bosting, handing her the highest value contract in the WNBA. She is also ready for the challenges ahead and has already sharpened her skills during the Univaled league.
Talking about the 2026 season, Boston said, “[I learned] that we push through adversity. That was just such a hard year for everyone, whether you were playing or whether you weren’t. And so for us, it’s knowing that we made it through that, and now having a fresh start this season, everyone’s in a good mood.”

The Indiana Fever side is one of the top contenders for the championship in the 2026 season, and fitness will play a key role in deciding their fate this season.
