With WNBA 2026 shining across all fronts, NBA 2K26 is also trying to feature many WNBA stars in its updated versions. The game added Sonia Citron Emote, which went viral with the Mystics star’s celebration becoming a ‘thing’ in the game. But sadly, that’s not the case with Aliyah Boston.
The player, though, received a high rating in the game, was not happy with her character, and hilariously reacted to the same on the recent episode of the Post Moves podcast.

Aliyah Boston’s Hilarious Reaction To NBA 2K26 Character
The Indiana Fever team and players are fan favorites in the league, with the former South Carolina forward also attracting a huge following. The game also tried to add the 25-year-old star to its player list, and the player got her first look at it on her podcast.
“That’s me. Are we joking?” Boston said as she was shown her game image. “I look like a little boy. … I fear for myself. Why would they do that? I’ve done face scans!”

Interestingly, the fans already slammed the game makers for their WNBA player integrations, and still, the designers messed up big time.
In the real world, though, AB is also not happy with the officiating in the league, where she received six fouls in the recent game and had to sit out for the final quarter.

Refereeing had been a big issue in the league, but now it had become too soft, with officials whistling for minor contacts, too. The 2023 rookie was not happy with it, as she had to sit out of the game with six fouls.
“Especially last year, it was super physical, like teams got away with a lot of pushing and shoving and I could see why that’s the big issue. But obviously right now its kind of choppy because there are so many whistles,” Boston said.

Boston said she believes referees are subtly ruining the flow of games because of too many whistles. She also said officials allow too much physicality.
