But off the court, too, the franchise found huge success following the trade. There was news of the increased ticket prices, and yet the demand is high. A recent discussion showed a positive impact on the Dream team, while a negative impact on the Sky franchise also followed the trade.

Ahead of the WNBA free agency and draft, the Chicago Sky and Atlanta Dream engaged in one of the biggest moves in the WNBA. Allisha Gray called Reese the missing piece Atlanta Dream needed, and the GM also lauded the impact, calling her a perfect fit in the culture, too.

Interestingly, the Sky players, Rachel Banham and Skylar Diggins, plead with fans to support the players and also back the GM and owners, letting go of the ‘bad feeling’ of the Resse trade.

The two-time All-Star was one of the biggest names in the Windy City with a huge fan following, and the franchise also enjoyed massive returns from them. Now, when the player returned to the Wintrust Arena, she had nothing but nice words for the franchise.

In the game, the 23-year-old played just 13 minutes and scored eight points with seven rebounds, two assists, and three steals. And during her period with the Sky, the star averaged 14.7 points and 12.6 rebounds with 3.7 assists per game. The Dream side will also be looking to bank on her ‘double-double’ stats to push for the championship.
