Under Head Coach Karl Smesko, the team has built upon its 2025 offensive improvements, particularly through the offseason acquisition of Angel Reese and the reliable veteran presence of Allisha Gray and Jordin Canada.
So far in the season, Allisha Gray cemented her status as a premier perimeter threat and scorer. In the first two games of 2026, Gray has been dominant, leading the team in scoring, including an explosive 26-point performance against the Dallas Wings, and Angel Reese redefined the Dream’s frontcourt in her first few games with the team, displaying overwhelming control of the paint.

The star had double-double stats in both games and showed her command around the glass. Gray called Reese a missing piece in the Dream team, and she fits in seamlessly on the side. Joining them is Jordin Canada, who served as the engine of the Dream’s offense, bringing high-level point guard play and efficient scoring.

The former LSU star didn’t waste time making an impact on the floor for the team. She is already leading the team in blocks nd rebounds and scoring in huge numbers too. The two-time All-Star averaged 11.5 points, 15.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals, and 2.0 blocks across the two games and shared a bold message on her IG Story.

While the team is currently thriving on three players’ performances, Rhyne Howard and Brionna Jones are yet to settle in the 2026 season, and when they match the synergy of the trio, the Dream side would be an unstoppable force.
