The season is just 10 days away, and media days are giving fans a glimpse of what to expect from the ‘much-awaited’ 2026 season. The Las Vegas Aces will enter the season as defending champions and yet maintain their core of Chelsea Grey, A’ja Wilson and Jackie Young to keep pushing for another title in the bag.
In the recent top five starting line-up rankings, the side takes second place, with a few changes among the opponent teams. Yet the 33-year-old guard is ready for the challenge and rather fired a warning to her opponents in her press conference.

Chelsea Gray With Strong Message For League Opponents
The 2025 championship was very special for A’ja Wilson, who noted that the team came up strong against all odds, obstacles, and criticism to deliver on the big stage. But the stakes just got higher as a former Duke player hints at another historical feat with the championship in the 2026 season.
“We’re chasing something that hasn’t been done before. I don’t think anybody’s ever went back-to-back twice in two different occasions. To do it with this group would be extremely special,” Grey said in the press conference.

The league has produced many memorable title-winning teams and players who have made their mark as legends.
