The cat is out of the bag now with the Dallas Wings signing Azzi Fudd as its first overall pick in the 2026 season. Off the court, too, the franchise made a huge splash for the league’s 30th season, signing the largest sponsorship deal in franchise history for jersey patch sponsor.
But they are not done yet, as the front office announced another partnership aimed at boosting their commercials and supporting players holistically. According to reports, the franchise is partnering with insurance giant Geico on a multi-year deal.

Dallas Wings Partners With Geico To Support Athletes
The Wings suffocated in the 2025 season due to poor player output, injuries to key stars, and devastating coaching. The front office revamped all those issues and also worked on off-court support with some major sponsorships and partnerships.
As per the recent update, the Wings are partnering with Geico, reflecting a shared commitment to women’s sports, youth development, and community impact across North Texas. The Dallas Wings CEO and Managing Partner, Greg Bibb, said, “GEICO is not only a notable national brand, but one that has deep roots here in North Texas.”

“Their commitment to elevating women’s sports with a focus on storytelling, while also emphasizing the importance of youth and community involvement, aligns perfectly with the Dallas Wings’ priorities. We look forward to working with GEICO for many years to come.” Bibb added.

As for Geico, it’s also a great business opportunity, partnering with the fast-moving league and hugely popular franchise. “At GEICO, we believe investing in women’s sports is good for business, and we are committed to showing up meaningfully by supporting athletes and helping tell the stories that matter to their fans and communities,” said GEICO Chief Marketing Officer Arianna Orpello.
“Women drive the majority of insurance decisions, which makes women’s sports an important place for us to show up authentically. As we mark nearly 90 years since our founding in Fort Worth and continue expanding our North Texas footprint, this partnership with the Dallas Wings reflects our commitment to investing for the long-term in the communities we serve,” Orpello mentioned.
While the team invested heavily in the off-court work with a number of partnerships, the main ‘product’ on the floor needs to deliver. Interestingly, the side has a unique advantage in the league with its top pick.
Dallas Wings With Unique Advantage In 2026 Season
While many other franchises gained a major boost with their back-to-back picks, the Wings will also be looking to get the most out of their first-rounders. The unique advantage for the Texas franchise would be through the background of the players, as Fudd and Buckers played together at UConn, allowing them to quickly form a partnership and help the team reach new highs earlier than other franchises.

The Aces had three back-to-back picks, and they took just three seasons to win their first title after the 2019 first-rounder. Even though the Wings rank as the fifth team with the best starting lineup in the 2026 season, the Dallas fanbase would be hoping to see early results from the talented roster now.
