During a preseason game, the DJ played Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan at the break. The song quickly pumped up the player, who was dancing on the bench with her teammate as she enjoyed every beat of the song.

Flau’Jae Johnson Shines in Preseason Games For Seattle Storm
Even though the draft class showed a lot of promise on paper, the real test came with the RPE season games. The 22-year-old star still came up strong with a solid outing against teams like Golden State Valkyries and Portland Fire.
She averaged 16.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 0.5 assists and a steal in those two games and shot efficiently with a 45.5/44.4/88.9 shooting splits. The player provides a strong scoring punch from the back court, which is a big plus point for the side with a strong forward line-up.

It’s important to note that Johnson can earn some early playing time for Seattle. The young side is in a transitional period as a team and needs some youth to develop at guard. While it’s just the preseason, the 2026 rookie has at least proven she belongs at this level of basketball already.
