While fans and the front office showered love on the new recruit, the teammate also took the chance to poke fun at her, and Rhyne Howard led the charge in the recent press conference, trolling the former LSU star with her answers.

The press conference was already in a joyous mood, with the roster showing confidence in their ability and ready for the challenge. An interviewer floated a question about the new addition, asking players their views on playing against her in the past two years.
Howard, with a mic in his hand and a wide smile on her face, said, “Any time Angel’s been on the other side of the court I think I had 30.”

The answer stunned the 24-year-old star while others burst into laughter. Naz Hillmon joined in and added, “Angel is annoying as hell.” While star Allisha Gray also said, “loved playing against Chicago because I had my best games.”

Angel Reese Opens Up About Joining the Atlanta Dream
Right after joining the Dream franchise, Reese shared a positive message, showing her intentions to make the move. In the press conference, the player also stayed on her goal and spoke about her time in the Sky team.
“I’m always going to be grateful for that because I did experience a lot of great things,” Reese said. “I enjoyed being able to grow within my first two years, but I wanted more. I love to win, I love to compete.”

“And I am not satisfied with what I am as a player, and I felt like being around these kinds of players would help me be better. I can help them in different ways to help them win, and that’s all I ever wanted. I don’t care about anything else that comes with it, I want to win and being able to come to an organization that really cared about their players,” Reese added.
The two-time All-Star never played in the playoffs, but with the Atlanta side, she is aiming for the championship.
