The team is ready to clinch the title again, and its key player, A’ja Wilson, is all set to take on the court. She signed a record-setting contract with the Aces and showed her faith in the team and management to win the championship once again.

There are not many changes in the star power of the Aces as the team prioritized the winning roster for the 2026 season, but there are new faces giving the roster a fresh look for the season.

Interestingly, the MVP also changed her look for the season and will be in the Marvel-inspired hairstyle for 2026. Fans reacted to the look with some praising the new avatar, while others made fun of it.

The reigning MVP entered the media day, and the thing that caught everyone’s attention was her hair color. The star chose a Jean Grey-inspired look with bright red hair, as she later mentioned in the press conference.

This is the third time the former South Carolina star has changed her hair color to a distinct shade ahead of the Aces’ media day. The first change came in 2024, when the star switched to silver after the Aces beat the New York Liberty in the 2023 championship game. Later in 2025, she chose pink to promote her new A-One shoe.

A’ja Wilson To Launch Nike Shoe On May 2

Las Vegas Aces center dominated the WNBA with her gameplay and also the sneaker world with her popularity. Wilson’s A’Ones Nike basketball was a smash hit, selling out in several colorways.

There was news of the release of A’Two just before the start of the 2026 season. Nike confirmed that the new version will be out by May 2. Despite going up against several other highly anticipated sneaker drops this weekend, it is a safe bet that Nike A’Two sells out quickly.
