The Indiana Fever is ready to take on the 2026 season with a new roster that mainly features multiple top performers from their semifinal season. The franchise announced its training camp roster and is once again betting on Caitlin Clark, who led the team to the Commissioners Cup in the 2025 season but missed the championship after an injury.
The player joins the training camp and also faces reporters nearly daily. While she is not new to media or media questions, she playfully surprised the reporters present that day with a fun moment.

Caitlin Clark Surprises Reporters With Her Fun Request
The Fever playmaker answered all the questions that the reporters had for her on the day, and as her session wound down, she made her special request to the reporters who were not ready for it.
Clark said, “Oh, wait, I have a question: can you guys go all stand over there? I’m gonna get you on my film camera, OK? You can be featured. You guys all take pictures of me, so get over there. I know you all like each other, and you’re gonna smile for me, OK?”

While the 30+ reporters tried to make it into the photo, CC took two shots to make sure all the members were in the frame. They all smiled for the camera, and Fever Guard also looked happy with her work.

Interestingly, she has taken up photography as a new hobby, and LeBron James even praised Clark for her work. During the interview, her request to the reporters was not the only thing she demanded; she also gave her teammates significant responsibility.
Caitlin Clark’s Demands From Fever Guards
The Fever playmaker is a ball-dominant player to facilitate her teammates. While she had been doing it from her college days, the opponents are just putting up pressure on her right from the baseline and tiring her out early. So she asked her teammates to share the possession.
“It is exhausting bringing the ball up the floor 94 feet versus pressure every single time, so we certainly need to find someone who can handle the ball. I think Raven and Tyasha [Harris], even other people through camp, have done a great job,” Clark said.

It will be interesting to see the tactics for keeping the star fresh and more impactful while using other guards effectively.
