Azzi Fudd had been one of the biggest stars coming into the WNBA draft. Projected as the potential number 1 draft pick, the UConn star indeed lived up to the billing. In the very first call of the draft, it was the Dallas Wings who secured the 23-year-old’s services. And immediately, the speculations went wild.
Reuniting with Paige Bueckers once again, the fans are already expecting a lot from the duo. After all, their stellar partnership on the court helped the Huskies clinch the NCAA title a few years back. Surprisingly, apart from their hardwood chemistry, the 2025 NCAA Champions’ relationship with Bueckers has also come to the limelight. But a recent response from the team has put some serious question marks on the same.
Are Paige Bueckers And Azzi Fudd Not Dating Anymore?
One of the many reasons why the Fudd-Bueckers team-up got hyped so much was due to their off-the-court relationship. Having a romantic relationship, Fudd revealed last year how she developed feelings for the 2025 Rookie of the Year. However, since then, the duo has not spoken much about their relationship publicly.
Recently, the 2025 NCAA Tournament MOP appeared before the press, representing the Dallas Wings. Inevitably, a reporter popped up the question about how she feels reconciling with her romantic partner in Dallas. Immediately, the Wings’ media team cut the reporter off and said no personal questions would be answered.
Reposting the clip, Annie Costabile tweeted, “I understand the efforts from Dallas Wings PR to mitigate a potentially uneasy line of questions/storyline. However, by not allowing Azzi to answer the question this only makes it a bigger story.”
