The Las Vegas Aces won three championships in four seasons, making them a team to beat and a league dynasty in the making. Still, the Aces’ coach Becky Hammon praised Caitlin Clark-Less Indiana Fever as her team’s toughest opponent in the title run.
This was an indirect way of praising and hinting that the Indiana franchise should challenge the champions for the top spot and become the dynasty everyone dreams of. Interestingly, another team that achieved a similar feat in recent years was the Golden State Warriors in the NBA. A member of that dynasty, Draymond Green, provided tips for the Indiana Fever in a recent podcast appearance.

Draymond Green Provides ‘Plan’ For Indiana Fever To Become Dynasty
The Fever franchise reached the semifinal of the 2025 season without multiple star players, including CC. Now with the playmaker back in the lineup, the side is once again a contender for the side, and even ranks among the top five teams in the 2026 season.
Although the team is yet to win a championship with its core, Green sees huge potential in the side and said, “The number one is like everybody gonna be themselves. There can be no pressure on Caitlin to be who Aliyah is. There can be no pressure on Aliyah to be who Kelsey is. It’s like everyone must be themselves.”

Green mentioned that they followed the same logic with the Warriors roster and added that they loved the franchise to its core and took ownership of it. He advised the Fever Trio to do the same.

While Clark and Mitchell are an essential part of the Fever game plan, Boston remains a key member who impacts both ends of the floor. Green also had advice for the star.
Draymond Green Hands Aliyah Boston Tips For Defending
Boston won the highest honor at the Unrivaled season for her defensive abilities and wants to replicate the performance in the WNBA. With the Fever eyeing their second championship in the league, the former South Carolina Star holds much value for the franchise.
On the podcast, Draymond Green explained the mistakes to avoid, as he said, “There is a time to use fouls. You can use fouls to your advantage. I am not of the belief that fouling is bad, but you have to understand when to foul. You can’t just get yourself in trouble every night like you got two fouls in first six minutes, like that’s bad fouling.”

With Green’s wise advice, AB would be ready to be a ‘better’ defender, and the core would be ready to make the franchise one of the top in the league.
