Georgia Amoore Ready For Breakout Season
Following a devastating ACL injury that sidelined her for the entire 2025 WNBA season, the guard returns in 2026 as a crucial, high-impact cornerstone for the Washington Mystics. Her elite playmaking and high basketball IQ are expected to immediately stabilize the Mystics’ backcourt.
She utilized her ‘offseason ‘ to mentally study Coach Sydney Johnson’s systems and rehab. Amoore returns as a “true” rookie with a veteran’s understanding of the offense. Her ability to operate high-level pick-and-rolls, combined with her scoring ability, will unlock the offensive potential of teammates like Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen.
