The WNBA season will start within two weeks, and the players are focusing on the preparations. Caitlin Clark is also pumped up for the season and already declared that she won’t be resting in any practice reps.
While the player is busy with her Fever duties, she is also aware of her ‘girlfriend’ duty as she shared a personal message for her boyfriend on social media, celebrating her third anniversary with her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery. The player received love from her teammates, too.

Fever Players React To Caitlin Clark’s Sweet Message For Boyfriend
The WNBA rookie had been dating McCaffery, a former basketball player and coach, since April 2023. The duo announced their relationship via a social media post and often shared highlights of their relationship.
They met while both were associated with the University of Iowa, where Clark played and McCaffery, son of Iowa coach Fran McCaffery, also played for the Hawkeyes. The player shared a sweet message on her Instagram and wrote, “Three years with my fav. you’re the bestttt :)” with heart emojis.
Fever and even Iowa teammates reacted to the post, showing their love for the lovely couple. Lexie Hull wrote, “The cutest!!!!” The pair shared a close relationship with the former Stanford star, with Clark also reacting to Hull’s post, commenting on her boyfriend’s photography.

It is not just the messages that the 2024 WNBA Rookie shows her love for her boyfriend; she visited his games, backing his team. Clark’s support pays off as boyfriend Connor McCaffery’s Butler shines against South Carolina in the NCAA game. The other biggest example is her actions towards her celebrity fan, Dave Portnoy.
Caitlin Clark Blocked Dave Portnoy, Showing Her Love For McCaffery
While the Fever playmaker has numerous fans, the Barstool Owner Dave Portnoy is one of the biggest fans of them all. He backed the former Iowa star in every situation, and now the player blocked him for his questionable comments about McCaffery’s father.
Incidentally, Portnoy trolled her boyfriend’s father, who was the Iowa Hawkeyes coach for 17 years, saying, “(The Hawkeyes) took 1 year for them to go further than their entire 17-year run with Fran.”

During a recent edition of Barstool Live, Portnoy blamed Rico Bosco for CC’s actions, as he said, “She blocked me. Caitlin Clark has blocked me and is now not responding to me. You cost me a Caitlin Clark relationship.”
Fans also raised questions over Clark’s silence over the Iowa boys’ team’s performance post McCaffery’s father’s departure.
