Even though the Dallas Wings finished 13th in the 2025 season, the franchise did well with a massive offseason overhaul, adding many key pieces to the roster to help Paige Bueckers thrive in her second season in the league. One of the most impactful additions, though, was the Wings’ first overall pick, Azzi Fudd.
NBA star Carmelo Anthony backed the Fudd-Bueckers pairing, and the team is also now looking to use the ‘winning combination’ to its full potential. Fans are not left behind, as they responded positively to the Wings’ pairing.

Huge Demand For Paige Bueckers-Azzi Fudd Games
When the Wings selected the 2025 National champion as its first overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft, the franchise experienced huge demand for its season tickets. The player’s performance at the Unrivaled league, too, attracted sports star Usain Bolt, who promised to get season tickets at the College Park games.
Now, the addition of Azzi Fudd has amped up the traction, and fans are already ‘in’ for the season as the Wings put a ‘Sold Out’ banner against the season tickets.

As for the Wings, the former UConn players are happy to play together in ‘W’ too.

The Wings are one of the top sides in the 2026 season and should at least aim for the playoffs with the kind of roster they have.
