Aliyah Boston Calms Caitlin Clark While Raven Johnson Watches During Preseason Game Against Nigeria [VIDEO]

The Indiana Fever took control of the final preseason game with every player putting in their efforts on the floor. Fans loved Caitlin Clark’s efforts on the night, although she played just 13 minutes and scored 12 points.

Cameras also caught the Fever bench showing its excitement with every point scored as the team prepares for the 2026 season. But there was one moment when CC lost her composure and tried to confront the referee, until Aliyah Boston intervened. Rookie Raven Johnson was also on the floor, but looked surprised and confused.

The Iowa star is very competitive, whether it’s a regular-season game, a preseason game, or a championship game. She acknowledged that she always wanted to be the best at everything she participates in. So when the star felt the referee had made a wrong call on a play, she went ahead to confront the officials.

But Boston came forward and pulled the playmaker aside, pushing her towards the bench and calming her for the whole time. While fans cheered the whole scenario, Raven Johnson tried to shake hands with her fellow guard, but as she passed by without shaking hands, the rookie looked confused and surprised.

This is not the first time AB took responsibility for looking after CC, as she gave a reason for her famous ‘pull back’ during the All-Star game party. Ironically, the guard also took responsibility for calming her teammate during games when she was on the bench.

The duo shared a close bond, and they were playing their first competitive game after the megastar’s injury in August 2025. So when the team announced Boston’s return, CC gave her a heartfelt shoutout.

The Indiana Fever took a cautious approach, keeping Boston out in the preseason games. But the star returned in the final game, and the Fever posted the video on social media, which Clark shared via an Instagram story along with her reaction. “Suddenly all was right in the world,” Clark wrote in her post.

Both players remain key contributors for the side and will look to win the championship for the franchise. AB already signed a three-year extension with the franchise, while Clark is also eligible for the extension at the end of the 2026 season.
